Do You Talk Too Much?

I have a chance to talk too much for her. "One of the main points that I do some of my sales seminars, is that most salespeople talk too much. During my management coaching and consulting I've noticed that most managers talk too much. And I can assure you that too many parents talk too much.

If this is true what many people want, in every waking moment with the sound of your voice to fill? I got my behavior over the years and I studiedYou can see that this trend does not endear people to you, or rather, say they want to be in your presence no longer necessary. I know that I like to have people feel the incessant me with their insights, opinions, knowledge, experience or general life wow curiosity.

Meet people who talk too much?

You can not always necessarily mean talking too much with the poor or the ability to listen, but as a rule, seethat go along with many people.

A long time friend of mine and colleagues recently conducted an informal study and came up with the following common reasons why people tend to be sales people talk too much. I decided to do some research yourself and to expand the topic for everyone and not just suppliers. Why not see if any of these apply to you or those you know to each other are related to work or be in a relationship with. People talk too much, because:

- For a longAcceptance or approval. are control freaks. had a low self esteem. get anxious, insecure or impatient, like the sound of his voice. think they are smarter or more experienced than others. are worried about themselves. are frustrated. I feel important to talk if they do.

very opinionated. have a high opinion of himself. reduce the need for tension or stress.
are confused. want to avoid running into the ignorance. I feel very strongly about a subject to believe their pathis correct or the only way. wants to be understood. versus sequential thinkers are abstract. can not be wrong.

- Talk to equate with power. as are the manipulative personality. the feeling that the elderly are more knowledge, wisdom or insight. feel more productive when they speak. To speak to know how they feel or what to believe them. wants to demonstrate its competence. are trained and have an above average vocabulary and try to impress people. unable to process already silence.believeKnowing what the other person is thinking or how they feel. are always in a hurry. extrovert out of control. What will be the center of attention. lack of patience with the slower pace Minutes of others. An ego out of control.

- Feel know people really want, or listen to all her things.

A long list I know but I wanted to be sure I covered most of the grounds. And 'that you feel understood?

What would it apply to you?

There are three basicConcepts I teach in all my classes, regardless of the topic:

- Collect information before giving.

And - the person asks the questions controls the conversation, the person that has dominated most conversations.

- You learn nothing when it comes, but you can feel it when you learn.
