The differences that divide - How can our communication and productive collaboration only Hinder

During my time in the development of business in that space between pure research and practical application, I noticed that the reason most of the cooperation he had little to do with technology, lack of care or even the ability of selected partners.

The real reason for the failure could lead inevitably back to 'the people will return' if open conflict or inconsistency, leading businessmen thinner in research, the refusal to workGovernment employees research.

The reasons given were varied, but all of them based on lies, was the fact that people aspetta''di think of others and act like them, and are not willing to accept and appreciate differences. Consequently, they failed to take advantage, working to find a more flexible approach with others.

Each of us is unique as a snowflake. No two are alike, even the so-called identical twins. However, ifcommunicate with others, we tend to think of seeing and responding properly. This leads to mis-communication, which can drop the "people's problems, conducts any activity involving two or more people.

To improve our ability to communicate with others to achieve the desired results, we need to understand our own preferences and find the clues that tell us how others differ. This in turn allows us to "flex" our actions in order to obtain better results whenWorking with people unlike us, in other words - and the rest of the world.

Two of the many ways that differ in our brains and our dominance of your time management.

First Brain Dominance: Research has identified two types of partnerships whose left brain is dominant and they were right brain dominates. Based on the original work of Roger W. Sperry and others, the left hemisphere is dominant 'content' oriented, while, someone will be with the right brain dominance"Process" oriented.

If the left hemisphere dominant, a person who thinks the most logical, rational and based on facts. Do you like the details and Excel, as a rule in mathematics and science. You see things in a linear fashion, and how the organization and structure - think of sequential engineer or accountant, and there will probably be able to picture what it looks like the dominant left brain in action.

Someone who saw the exhibition of right brain dominance, on the other side, as more emotional andtheir thinking is often characterized as irrational or illogical than those with a dominance of left brain. They tend to "image" great thinker and are creative and imaginative. They often rely on intuition rather than facts in making decisions and are comfortable with a flexible and comprehensive approach to each project. When you think of someone in the creative fields such as marketing or act on the right hemisphere in action.

As a result, our hemisphere of the brain isdominant and controls our actions, we are 'hard-wired "to be some things better than others. If this is not how the projects are in joint teams and included friction in the workplace generally structured results suffers, productivity and increases the risk of error.

According to our use of time: the way we think of time also plays an important role in how we interact with others. The two perspectives on time "monochronic" and "polychrone, and whilefirst as a result of the culture we live in are, now there is a strong indication that our brain dominance plays a role.

Those who measure the dominance of the left brain, the model is attributed monochronic cultures. At a time monochronic culture is seen as something to manage and is divided into different units. The United States as monochronic culture, where experts in the field of 'time efficiently create schedules to increase productivity and people have seen time leftmanagement courses to improve their efficiency.

monochronic people tend to work in sequence, doing one thing at a time to concentrate on the work at hand. They take their time and deadlines very seriously and we strictly adhere to the plans. They emphasize the speed to work and are often used in short-term relationships.

People who show right hemisphere, irrespective of their cultural background correspond almost exactly to the patterns associated with "polychroneCultures. Polychrone Cultures take a much less severe at the time and are more flexible in programming time, with less emphasis on accounting for every moment.

Polychrone people tend to do many things - are multitaskers consumed. Time commitments to achieve the objectives, as will, if possible, but do not feel bound. They are highly flexible and easy to change plans as they see it. Their obligations are people and relationships, butas activities and appointments. They also have a tendency to build relationships.

If you compare these two approaches to time, it is easy to see how friction can develop during a project. Understanding your approach to time and his staff will help you better manage the project is not only time lines, but to ensure the allocation of tasks, that the best person for the job at the right place.

As these examples represent only two showedof the many differentiating factors that exist, is that our differences lead to very poor communication and ineffective interpersonal dynamics. The most people understand how much more effective as there will be different as a manager and a leader.
